Preview window

The Preview window is a handy way to view a group of images or movie files. This window may be used alongside the main window containing the duplicate files.

The central area shows the currently selected image - you can click on a file in the main Duplicate files tab or the thumbnails side bar to change this image.  The filename and folder are shown above, and the marked status can be changed by clicking in the checkbox.

Current group

The current group is shown to the top left (along with a count of any filters which have been applied).  Click on the arrows to change group.  Group numbers which are outside the current filter will be skipped.

Thumbnails

Thumbnails of files in the current group are shown down the right. You can scroll down using the scrollbar.  File size, dimensions and format are shown above the image.
You can hover the mouse pointer over the images to see the full filename and path, and clicking on an image will show it as the main image. You can also mark or unmark an image by clicking in the checkbox.
You can hide the thumbnail section by unchecking the 'Show thumbnails' checkbox.

You can change the size of the thumbnails by changing the zoom bar below the list.

Metadata

Check the 'Show tags' checkbox to show a panel containing metadata for the currently selected image.
The tags shown will vary depending on the source and history of the image, and may have been created by the camera or image processing software.

Fit image

With this setting checkmarked, the main image will be scaled to fit within the window.  If unchecked it will be shown at actual pixel size, and you can use the scroll bars to pan around it.

Correct orientation

If checkmarked, the image will be rotated to display at the correct orientation according to the metadata in the image.
