In Duplicate Cleaner 2.1, my latest scan returned a "duplicate group" for at least every file on the drive. Some had duplicates, most did not. This broke ... pretty much everything. Sorting takes forever. Selection Assistant has pretty much locked up.
If it helps, this is an external backup drive connected via esata. This is not my primary drive. I've previously run this version of Duplicate Cleaner without any problems, but not on this particular drive. DC has been open (executable running, but not scanning) for several days. Scanning was started once, but stopped when I realized the backup software was still accessing the drive. I restarted the scan the next morning.
DC is currently running full-bore on one of the cores on this computer, and taking up 1.6GB of RAM. It is no longer responding.
Results include groups with single files - no dupes
