Find duplicates based file name only

Post by dcwul62 »

I have quite a lot of files that have converted from Excel to PDF.
Often they are more or less in the same sub folders.
As they are converted, they have different sizes and the modified date may also differ.

I want to search on duplicate file names only (file names without extension)
ignore date-time-size.

Any suggestions?

thanks!

Just use:
Regular Mode - > Ignore content
With
'Same file name' only.

Thanks. That was the way I went initially, but I saw that "Match date only" was checked and could not be unchecked. That confused me.
Matter solved.
Thanks again!

Please note that when posting, each time I get an error:

Here are some suggestions

Try reload this web page later.
Check the web page address to make sure you have entered it correctly.
Check your firewall settings. All connections should be allowed for AdGuard.
Check your proxy settings if you use proxy server.

I have to try a few times, relaunch the site and in the end it is successful.
I copy the text to clipboard first (before posting) so I do not need to retype everything.

Just wanted to let you know.
