using multiple presets

Post by sk2107 »

Hello,

can I use multiple presets in ver.5, for example: images, videos together?

Thank you

You can't run Image Mode and Video mode (or any other mode) together currently.

You can combine preset file types for a Regular mode scan though - just create a new combined preset type in Settings->Presets.

Sorry I was not clear in my question as I was talking about file extensions in Regular mode.

What I meant is if I want to include all video extensions and all image extensions then I will have to copy paste them manually and it become a long string (unless there is another way).

I wish if there something like video:;images: (it will be joining video preset + images preset).

Any ideas is highly appreciated

Thank you

Try this:
1: Use regular mode with all extensions.
2: In the Duplicate Files tab, click on the Filters menu and then select the Images preset.
All images (as per the preset) will be displayed.
3: Select all files displayed and then right-click and Mark all Selected.
4: Click on the Filters menu again and then select the Images (RAW) preset (if desired).
All images RAW (as per the preset) will be displayed.
5: Select all files displayed and then right-click and Mark all Selected.
6: Click on the filters menu again and then select the Video preset.
All Videos (as per the preset) will be displayed.
7:Select all files displayed and then right-click and Mark all Selected.

Now all images and videos will be marked.

8: Click on the filters menu again and then Not Marked.
All unmarked files will be displayed.
9: select all unmarked files and then use 'Drop Selected from List' or add them to the Ignore List.
