I think, & you'd have to test ...

put your one file in an out of the way place (directory)

set up your Scan Locations, directories, to 'Scan Against Self' -> No

Thinking it would be better if you ran multiple, separate scans rather then adding all directories/partitions at once, because each directory/partition added, while 'Scan Against Self', would not scan against itself, would scan against each other.

So if you have...

c:/1-picture/
d:/many-pictures/
e:/more-pictures-on-d/
f:/and-yet-more-pictures-on-e/

If you included them all, c would scan against d, against e, against f (but none would scan against themselves).

If you only do c & d, then only the two scan.
Then do c & e.
Then c & f.

With that, at no point is d scanning again e or f, or any combination thereof.

1. Add 1 sample Images
2. Find all duplicates partitions (all the letters C-Z) (only multi-subfolders, eg. 100 thousand or millions subfolders)
3. Remove instantly all duplicates (only visual similarity 98-100%)

Possible?

With version 4.0 you would set the sample in a folder flagged as 'Master', then add the other search folders/drives as normal. Only duplicates of the master will be flagged.
