include search; protect deleting

I appreciate an option to do a search where I select a folder, but from where I can protect delete files.
For example:
I have a drive shared with my office. I would look for duplicate files on my computer (including the shared drive), but I would protect the office's files, so that I don't have an angry boss :D

Is there such an option in Duplicate Cleaner?

4.0 will have a feature like that.
(I'd tell you more, but it doesn't run on XP, which is where I'm at at present.)

Yes, it's in 4.0 - you can flag any input folder/drive as 'Protected', meaning you can't mark or delete from it.
