After using a global selection such as 'select by text patern', I want to verify the result is as desired. I can use the "Filter: Marked files" to confirm that my text expression was picked up as I expected, but I really want to see the matching UNMARKED dups as well to be sure that in all cases it is the 'text matched' files that should be deleted and not the dup of any of them.
Maybe a toggle to show the whole group that contains the marked match as well as just the marked file. This becomes relevant when there are a lot of matches.

I think you can do what you want with the Pro version - it has more filtering options -
Filters available include:
All - Show all duplicate files.
Marked - Show just marked files.
Not Marked - Show files not currently marked.
Group has Mark - Show groups which have at least one marked file
Group has no Marks - Show groups with no marked files.
Group has all Marked - Show groups with all files marked.

Yes, now I have the pro version I can do it as you say.
I think you might be missing out on pro sales by not allowing people to know the exact benefits prior to purchase, e.g. by clearly stating the capabilities in a pro manual.
