Hi,
I have today bought Duplicate Cleaner Pro, but unfortunately already discovered what appearss to be a bug. Here is what happened:
a) scanned selected folders
b) deleted some duplicate folders via the Duplicate Folders tab
c) without closing Duplicate Cleaner changed, in Win Explorer, the name of a path that had been scanned .
d) Refreshed folders in Duplicate Folders tab, but the renamed path still appeared in its old version before renaming
e) cleared cache, restared Duplicate Cleaner, re-scanned: all this had no effect: the renamed path still appeared as it was before renaming in the Duplicate Folders tab
f) when I clicked on the old path name I got the following error pop-up: "Error showing file list Could not find a part of the path
'[old path name...]' ".
I am using Win 7 / 64 bit and would be grateful for suggestions what, if anything, I can do to get the path names updated after chaninging them.
Thanks.

Re: Path not updated in Duplicate Folders tab
Hi, thanks for your purchase,
thanks
The Refresh button doesn't update the folders from the physical drive, it just syncs internally with the duplicate files list (ie something has been removed, etc). May need to make this clearer.Berliner wrote:Hi,

A full re-scan should definitely pick up your new folder name- none of this is cached by DC. Are you sure you re-scanned and didn't just refresh?Berliner wrote:Hi,
