Folder "SCAN" in APPdata

Hello Community,

when searching for the biggest files on my harddrive i came across the folder "scan" in "C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\DigitalVolcano\DuplicateCleaner"

What are the files in there and why are some so big ? those cant be the database because that is a much larger file somewhere else (right?). my "san" folder is almost 100GB big and i was wondering if anything in it is of value or can be deleted ?

The Scan folder holds your current scan. If you don't need it you can delete the files in this folder. Sometimes old scans can be left behind if there was an issue removing them, or the program was shut down during scanning.
