Better to mark dupes or show remaining uniques?

I'm confused over whether to mark duplicates or use the show remaining unique when moving or deleting files?

What is the difference?

This question pertains to what is the best method when approaching naming and organizing the FOLDERS that eventually will hold the files.

Am I using DCP5 to peel off the DUPES then save those in individual folders for later FINAL comparison to create ONE CLEAN folder that contains ALL my original photos and videos?

Or am I using DCP5 to just show the remaining unique files then moving those to ONE CLEAN FOLDER?

What is the most efficient use of your program?

Two remarks here:

1) I have found no way to select ALL Unique files in BULK for transfer. The only I found was to mark them individually one by one. This does not work for me.

2)
I checked the documentation. I found the description really confusing. If you do not allow bulk selection for transfer of the unique files why even offer this feature? I don't get it. Here is the text in the documentation that confuses me specifically:


"The viewing, filtering, searching and marking on this list work in the same way as the functions on the Duplicate files tab - though there may be less options due to the fact that there is no duplicate grouping in this list."

This is NOT TRUE. Why? Because, I have yet to find a way to SELECT ALL FILES in the found set just like in the Duplicate files tab. Therefore, it is NOT "work in the same way as the functions on the Duplicate files tab" as you state in the documentation.

Please advise.

You have a few options-

If nothing is marked, just use 'Invert marked files' from the Selection Assistant or right-click menu. (or you can hit 'Unmark all' first to be sure)

or

Click on the list, use Ctrl-A to select all the files and hit space to mark them all
