I want to exlude directories like venv, ,git, .vscode etc

I can exclude them one by one manually, but it would be nice to be able to exclude *\venv *\.git and *\.vscode etc.

It's not obvious but you can do this in the Search filters->Excluded box with 'All file extensions' unchecked and 'Apply exclusions to folder names' checked.

e.g.
venv;.git;.vscode
