Work only on currently selected rows

In Duplicate Cleaner Pro 4, I used the "work only on currently selected rows" option a fair amount. When I search in the Help, it refers me to filters and I can't figure out how to recreate this feature.

How can I do the same thing in 5?

1- Select the rows your require, and then right-click and choose 'Filter selected rows' - your selection is now shown as a filtered set of rows
2- Any selection assistant operation will now only be performed on the filtered rows
