Hello,
I don't think I can attach a screenshot here so I will explain.
I originally had Version 3 Pro and recently decided finally to install Version 4 which I got as a free upgrade.
I have lots of photos from various sources some of which are identical except for EXIF data.
Specifically some have a "date taken" and some don't. I want to keep the ones that have the "date taken" metadata.
Ok so I know I can't do this with Ver 4 so I have downloaded the 7 day trial of Ver5 to try.
So I scan and from the results I can see some that have the date/time taken.
From that point I don't know what to do.
I could manually go through and mark all those that don't have a date taken but is there a way of doing it more easily?
Regards,
Paul

Re: Keep duplicate photos that have EXIF date taken
You can get the Selection Assistant to 'prefer' to mark files which do not have a date taken
-All but one in each group
-Date Taken - lowest/blank. Checkmark this.
Note this will also mark duplicates with date taken if there are more than one in a group, but will prefer those without date taken.

Awesome thank you. Guess I'll be forking out on the upgrade to version 5.
