DateTimeDigitized of Nikon NEF files

I use Duplicate Cleaner pro on my Win10 machine and I have Nikon NEF codec installed as well.
In windows explorer I can see the "Date taken" tag of my NEF files, but Duplicate Cleaner does not find DateTimeDigitized tag for any of my NEF files.
Exiftool finds and prints CreateDate tag (exiftool name for DateTimeDigitized ) in my NEF files.

Has anybody used Digitized Date/Time comparision for NEF files?

The same problem exits with the CR2 and DNG files I had available. Thus it seems that this is related to (library used for) raw support in general.

The digitized date doesn't seem to exist (or it is not finding it). It is pulling out the Exif Modified date for these formats though, which may be the same value you are looking for.

Need to test this some more.
