One feature which I'm really missing:
Have the option of making hashes in the duplicate list.
Explanation: I am searching 6.5TB data for duplicates. If I click "same content" right away, it would take ages. Just searching for "same filename" is very fast.
If I could apply the hash to selected files or just the duplicate list, that would help tremendously.

I am running Windows 7 Professional; Duplicate Cleaner 2.0 - will not let me create hard links for duplicates; the documentation says can only create Hard Links for NTFS with Windows XP, 2000, Vista - will it really not work with Windows 7, or am I doing something wrong?

It should work with 7 too. Perhaps the files are read only?

SORRY BUT I COULD NOT REMOVE SOME DUPLICATED EXE FILES FROM AN USB EXTERNAL DISK. AS SOON AS I TRY TO DELETE THEM IT SAYS "PROTECTED FILE" AND IF YOU ACCESS SUCH FILE AND CLICK PROPERTIES, THERE'S NO PROTECTION AT ALL.
