Yesterday I purchased Duplicate Cleaner Pro, so please bear with me when I asked a dumb question.
I vainly searched the forum for an answer on the below question.
When searching a entire drive or folders that contain both ’document’-type files and program files (.exe, .dll, .com, .ini etc), would there be a way to use some kind of preset(?) so as to have only have duplicate document* files listed?
(*like Office documents, PDF, image files, txt and text like files, and so on)
Or is there a way to have those types 'set' in some kind of preset or in options?
Thanks.
p.s. I know there the Tab Search Criteria offers a "Filter" - Probably one can enter file extensions there, but there are many...
One has to enter them one-by-one and accidentally forget one or two?
Newbie question: search for specific files (exclude program type files)

You can change the filters for the search in the Criteria tab - Seach filters search.

Click the 'select' button for some presets (you can also make your own).

Your reply crossed my p.s....
Re: Newbie question: search for specific files (exclude program type files)
Thank you!
Did some experimenting on this and it works out fine.
Added some of my 'own' extensions.
Also happy to see that some filters could be combined.

Thanks again!
