Results of duplicated file search

Hi,
Apologies if comes across as a stupid question. I just need some clarification.
I scanned my folders and I got a list of duplicate files.
Am I right in thinking I can delete all of these files but the original file will remain?
Or does the search show ALL duplicated files including the original file?
If so, how do I delete only the duplicates and leave the original file.

The results show ALL the files - so usually you'll need to leave one (the program will warn you if you try and remove all of them).

There are tools to mark and leave one copy - see the Selection Assistant-
