out of memory error

what does this mean and what can i do about it?

PS tried restarting to no avail
nothing else was running at the same time.

There are a few things you can try for this-

-Update the program to v3.2.7 if you can (download and put on machine via usb drive?)

If not:
-Turn off logging (in the More options screen).
-Rescan and delete less files (there will be less anyway as some have deleted before the creash).

You need .NET Framework 4.5 for Duplicate Cleaner 4 - which you'd have to install manually if you do not have a internet connection.
