we have 2 external hard drives.
want to delete all duplicates in one of the drives
this is just Audacity files so far, but all are denied.
version 3.1.4
dont want to update cos this old win7/64 computer does not connect to the internet.
(typing this on a chromebook)

is there anyway to show just the G drive dups and how do select several at once instead of selecting 2000 files one by one!

Does deleting one of the files in Windows Explorer work? (just to check permissions). You may need to run the program as administrator.

You can use the Selection Assistant to multi-select files - check the manual page. Try right-clicking on a file for Marking options

sadly on my budget i can only afford the free one which does not come with the selection assistant

Version 3 (Free and pro) has the Selection Assistant - it's on a pop-out side bar in v3. Click the Silhouette icon next to the list.
