Hello, new to the program and hoping for a quick solution that is not just RTFM as I do not have a lot of time.
I have Drive D: and Drive E: .
In Drive E:, I have duplicates of those in Drive D:.
How do I preserve the files in Drive D: yet find any duplicates JUST OF THE FILES in Drive E: that also appear in Drive D:
Please help me with a ste-by-step walk thru and pretend I am an idiot because I am. :)
Okay....hopefully a simple question and answer

Search Criteria Tab:
*Use Regular Mode, Same Content.
Scan Location Tab:
*In the folders to scan list add drives D and E (drag them across)
*Set D to Protected (Click the button in the Protected column so it displays Yes)
*Set E to Don't scan against self (Click the button in the Scan Against Self column so it displays No).
*Start Scan.
When scan is complete you can use the Selection Assistant to 'Mark all but one in each group'. Provided you have protected the D drive correctly it should mark the duplicates in E.
