I have been a happy user of Duplicate Cleaner Pro for about 3 years now. I use Windows 10 as my OS.
Congratulations on such a useful program!
I upgraded today and bought version 4 and it's scanned for duplicate photos but it won't let me mark any files or folders for deletion. I tried everything (Selection Assistant, right clicking etc) but nothing works. I am sure it's me rather than DC but I can't work out what I'm doing wrong. I did fine with earlier versions. A pity because it looks like you've been developing it in really good directions....
Help!
can't mark files
Re: can't mark files
I gather you're doing an Image Mode scan?
Could it be a permissions issue?
Instead of Image Mode, if you ran a Regular scan on the same directory, does that allow you to mark files?
I don't seem to have any issue marking?
Anything peculiar with your scan?
Number of files? Location?
What settings did you use in your scan?

Re: can't mark files
Have you flagged the input folder with 'Protected' in the folders to search list? This will prevent you marking the file.

Re: can't mark files
Thank you very much, both of you.
I will try your solutions now......
I will come back with more info if I fail again.
If I succeed, I will let you know what worked!

Re: can't mark files
I reset Duplicate Cleaner in case I tweaked something which I should have left as a default. I checked the Protected tab was set to No.
I'm rescanning and it says it's looking through 30785 files. (55.1GB), which isn't very different from what I was doing in version 3.
This will take half an hour or so on my laptop which is an Acer ACPI x64-based PC using Windows 10 Home. It has an Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-3217U CPU @1.8 GHz.

OK. Many thanks. Now working perfectly.
I am greatly enjoying all the new features. Old Duplicate Cleaner was good but this is great!
