Do you have other versions of .NET installed too?
Possible that (parts of) DC depend on features that 2.0/3.0/3.5 may have, that are not part of 4.5 or work differently?

AFAIK...

4.5 includes 4.5 & 4.0.
(Note there is also a 4.5.2 that is out. Not sure if its an actual release or some sort of test build?)
3.5 includes 3.0 & 2.0.
3.0 includes 2.0.
2.0 is 2.0.
1.1 includes 1.0.
1.0 is 1.0.

Yes, you did, and I have replied to it (email). Thank you. We should probably stick to email rather than both this forum AND email. Thank you again.

One would think there were more versions, but when I do a search on .NET in programs to uninstall, ONLY 4.5.1 lists ... and there is an option to uninstall it.

Sorry for my absence. Out of town for the weekend. I had high hopes ... when this drive is attached to the POGOPLUG device back on the router, it creates two 'index' files. When that drive is then connected directly to pc, they can be deleted and recreated when back on the PP device. Was hoping if I did that, the DC Pro problem would fix. Alas, it did not.

I also put DC Free on another computer on the network, ...and it has the same folder tree problem, .. so it is bot Duplicate Cleaner. More .. some kind of POGOPLUG problem. I will take this to them.

Thank you all again.
