Soooo I found 13,571 duplicate mp3 files on an external hard drive and I moved them to my C drive on laptop. Did NOT delete them but now I want them back in their original folders because I realized the goof. Please, I'm beggin' please tell me there is a way to do this without having to move them one by one because yeah, that ain't happening.

I would assume you mean have the Log Events to File checked? No, I did not.DigitalVolcano wrote:Did you have logging turned on?

Perhaps a program like Tags 2 Folders could help, somewhat.
Assuming the files have tags, build the structure on your HDD, then merge it over to your External Drive.
There would obviously still be mismatches, but perhaps better then nothing.

They have tags but not all are complete. That's one thing I'm in the process of working on. I will try out this program though so thanks for that. I guess found file is better than no file right?therube wrote:Perhaps a program like Tags 2 Folders could help, somewhat.
