Cannot delete file

I get million of this messages:
Error Deleting File or Folder
Cannot delete file: Cannot read from the source file or disk.
Which really is the only glitch in the program.
It's a error message which user can't do much about anyway, so how about just give report saying there was x number of errors delete file or folder, and that's all.

Thanks for great program otherwise

Thanks for the bug report - this behaviour will be fixed in the next version.

Any plans on WHEN this bug will be fixed? The program is impossible to use as this error occurs A LOT. WHY does it occur? he scan went fine. Why is the Delete Files process causing this error over and over??

One of the problems that this program has is that it does not handle file names with unusual (unicode?) characters.
For example, the filename:
Coca-Cola Poczuj Magię Świąt 2005
becomes:
Coca-Cola Poczuj Magie Swiat 2005
Notice the ę and the Ś.
And I am using US English Windows XP.

It'll be fixed in v1.4 - in progress now but I can't give a release date yet. The Unicode filename support is in hand as well. I release more info via the new website (coming online soon!)

Wow I just found this app and it's exactly what I need as I've got 3Tb to get through! But every time I run it I get the same error as these other users which really makes the app useless. This really is a "bug and a half". If 1.4 isn't ready what about a 1.3.x quicky just to fix this issue. Thanks

Hi DV,
again me.

app works really fine except 2 problems:
1. mentioned above - cannot delete file (I think because of filenaming as discussed already) - however if it will work or not - please could you add to that "cannot delete file...' message button "ignore all"? This would be helpful (I just had to press space bat (to hit OK button) for 600 times and believe me it is pretty annoying).

2. Some directories after deletion of all files remains on disk, also if I checked "remove empty dirs" in options.

However I still feel pretty about the app, just some small fixes would help a lot

Issue 1 is fixed in version 1.4 - no more annoying pop up message!

I get 'Delete files complete' and
'EXCLAMATION POINT'
'3355 File(s) had delete errors, 0 files have been deleted.
HELP! I am dead in the water. What next soonest please!
