Scan freezes after Finding Files - Bug?

Post by cdcnewengland »

As I begin a search it will find all the folders that need to be scanned but as soon as it jumps over to scanning the actual files it freezes and it doesn't scan. I've tried leaving it open for hours and nothing is accomplished - not even a .1%. It used to work when I first purchased it but then it stopped working after an update. Currently, I can use the Duplicate Cleaner Free version and it works perfectly fine. It finds and scans everything! What is going on with the Pro, anyone know how this can be fixed?

It should be the same as free - maybe you have a different setting (eg scanning in zips) which would slow it down if you had a lot to go through.

Quick questions-
-How many files found?
-What scan type?

It hangs up in Regular Mode - I've tested at 85% and at 90% similarity - It found 78,624 Files and it is not set to scan in zip files. I also tried searching a small location - it found 13,661 Files and it still did not work.

Image Mode: 85% Similarity found 31,630 files and worked perfectly fine.

Audio Mode:Match Audio Data Only found 4706 Files and worked perfectly fine.
