vista 64 bit compatibility
After reading some answers to this, it's still not clear to me, is this program, duplicate cleaner, fully (read: no headaches, loss of time for dealing with probs because of any incompatibility) compatible with vista 64 bit? All clear, straight forward answers greatly appreciated.

Based on my experience (see more recent post) I'd say No.
However, I'm only running XP Home 32 bit which has the option to disable DEP on a program by program basis. My m/b bios enabled DEP by default but I had to explicit turn DEP on (/optout) in boot.ini.
I don't think that 64 bit operating systems running natively can turn DEP off, but I could be wrong.
IIRC incompatibility with DEP is a sign of obsolete coding techniques - it may take the authors some time to bring DC up to date.
If I can get a copy of the Windows 7 beta 64 bit I'll update with my findings.
