On D: I had a shortcut pointing to a directory in C:. The program reported the files in the shortcut folder as duplicates which is NOT the case.
Suggestion:
When doing file name comparison you should be able to specify a degree of similarity
Suggestion:
When viewing duplicated audio files it would be nice to be able to see the bitrate the files were recorded at.
BUG: Shortcuts reporting as duplicates
Also the "date" option could be improved quite considerably. I'm assuming it currently goes by date modified only?
If I take a photo, duplicate it, then rotate it. It will NOT come up as a duplicate when you do a Name & Date comparison. Even though the "date" field in windows explorer is the same.
My camera increments to 9999 then it starts at 0001 again, this means if I just do a file name comparison I will get 9999 duplicates.
It would be nice to choose which date filed to use and also if the time is to be included in the comparison.
