Duplicate files group color

Post by Kopiad »

In the duplicate files tab, the groups have alternating colors (red/blue). In some cases two consecutive groups have the same color, making it easy to mark the wrong files.

Yes, the color scheme will make no sense unless the list is sorted by group no.

I think the list is sorted by group number as default. The problem is when I have three groups (G1 = Red, G2 = Blue, G3 = Red) and delete the files in group 2 so it is removed from the list. Group 1 and 3 will then have the same color (G1 = Red, G3 = Red) making it easy to mark files in the wrong group.

A great programme, - well done!!
A couple of suggestions, portability would be good, - ie run off USB as it one of those programs you only need to run once in a while.
Also, - it would be useful to be able to exclude specific sub folders.I have a lot of photos and keep a sub folder in each album for photos which have been enhanced or published and these come up as duplicates. Whereas it would be nice if I could simply exclude these.
I notice its very slow if looking for duplicates on a network?

DC 1.4.3 should be able to exclude subfolders - try adding the specific subfolder to the search list and you will get the option to exclude.
