VHD Support on Duplicate Cleaner

On Windows 7, you can create virtual hard disks (VHD) and attach them as a "hard drive" to be used by the system. Now, I'm looking to use duplicate cleaner inside of one of these containers because it makes for easily transportable backups (cut in 4GB chunks, store on DVD). Whenever I attach a VHD and try to run Duplicate Cleaner, it scans nothing and says that no files were duplicated of zero files scanned, and it's instantaneous.

Hopefully this is something that Duplicate Cleaner 2,0 will have support for.
