Re: Selecting duplicates in the same folder with similar names
OK, I see. From a new scan point of view does 'Same folder name' (match full) + 'Same drive' help? Yes. Is it intended to be possible to have both "Same folder name" + "Match full folder name" and "Ignore duplicate groups within the same folder" checked at the same tim...

Re: Several groups with one consecutive color after filtering
This issue does not occur when dropping items permanently (until scanned again) from the list, only when temporarily filtering. Thanks for fixing this.

Re: Selecting duplicates in the same folder with similar names
Did you find that the search function also allows filtering to search results? That way you can search for something and then filter to it. The Selection Assistant will then work just on the filtered rows. The intended result is for only duplicates within the same folder and with "(2)" to...

Re: Scanning two separate spindles at the same time
Apparently it is running as 64-bit, as Task Manager does not show (32-bit). I thought it was 32-bit since it is in the x86 folder.

Re: Scrolling and selecting batches
I'll check this and try and fix. As a workaround you can hit space to mark/unmark all selected rows. Yes, I have been right clicking the batch and selecting from there. Unlike the previous version, it never slows down or freezes up when selecting more than 2,000 files. The live scroll updating was ...

Selecting duplicates in the same folder with similar names
The Selection Assistant in Version 4 had a ["Copy of" style file names] option. Searching for “(2)” and “- Copy” can produce the same result in Version 5, but it would be even better if there was a mode that only selected files with those extensions if there was another file in the same fo...

Scrolling and selecting batches
Version 5 is mostly an improvement over 4, but one massive regression is that in Version 4. pressing shift, selecting a large batch of files, and then clicking the checkbox will check every selected file, but in Version 5, even when multiple files are selected, clicking the checkbox only affects the...

Double clicking the checkbox executes the file
In Version 4, double clicking a row outside of a checkbox opens or executes the file. In Version 5, even the checkbox opens or executes the file when double clicked. It is very easy to double click the checkbox if it is checked and then unchecked too quickly. It also executes the file even if it is ...

Several groups with one consecutive color after filtering
When the quick filter is used in Version 5 to only show groups with 2 items, there are often multiple consecutive groups that are all the same color and appear to be the same group. It does not realign the alternating group colors after a filter is applied, so it is easy to select almost all files i...

Re: Finding unique files between partitions
In Version 5, Scan Against Self is set to No for unique files to be found only between partitions. That is better, but either way forces the unique scanning mode to be dependent on the duplicate scanning mode. This does not matter when the scan will only be used for the unique list, but often, there...
