That is correct ... however, in "free" you can at least see which folders are duplicates ... you just cannot do anything with the results.

thanks ... i have tried several times to reinstall as well as scanning folders of smaller sizes. overall, i am not really satisfied with this "paid" version. for some reason, the "free" version did not run into these issues. how can i proceed to get a refund of my purchase ? i have already emailed ...

I just reran the scan on a directory and received the following pop-up window ... "Error in Scan Process: Exception of Type 'System. OutofMemoryException' was thrown". The scan seems to hang at about 10% scan each time that I attempt to execute the scan of the directory.
