I'd like to permanently exclude files such as picasa.ini or destkop.ini regardless of where they occur. They clutter up scan results. There is an "ignorelist.txt" text files in v. 5 but the examples given by the DV help file don't suggest wild cards or characters. They are:
ignorelist.txt Example file:
C:\Users\me\Documents\Outlook Files\
D:\Photos\Picasa\Exports\Starred Photos\.picasa.ini
D:\Photos\Picasa\Exports\Collages\.picasa.ini
D:\Photos\Picasa\Collages\.picasa.ini
D:\Photos\template.jpg
picasa.ini could exist in hundreds or thousands of folders. Can it and other similar housekeeping files be globally excluded? Couldn't the text file include, for example: "*\.picasa.ini\*"?
Is there another way to do this other than the ignorelist.txt file?
Permanently exclude certain file names across all folders

Re: Permanently exclude certain file names across all folders
You can add picasa.ini to the Excluded box in the Criteria tab. It takes complete filenames as well as extension wildcards. You can separate multiple items with semicolons.
