File removal tab

Overview

The file removal tab contains everything you need when it comes to deleting, copying, moving, renaming and linking files.  All these operations will be performed on files you have previously marked (checkmarked in the list) in one of the other tabs. (Duplicate files, Duplicate folders or Remaining files).

You can also export file lists from this tab, in a format suitable for programs such as Microsoft Excel.

There may be one or two sub-tabs here, depending on the results of your search.  Be sure to click on the correct tab before proceeding further.

The number of files marked (in the duplicate files tab) is shown here, along with the size on each drive.  This allows you to check you are removing files from the expected drive.
You may also get warnings here, such as if all copies of a file are marked for removal.

Next, you can select which operation you want to perform on your files from the tabs on the left.  Progress is shown on the right of the window, along with results.  All operations are logged in the log file.
