No, it just drops them from the list - look down the context menu:
"Drop selected from list - Shift+Del"

Re-scan and the files will appear again!

The file delete (key) function only works if it's enabled in the settings, and even then will just go to the recycle bin (and be logged).

Sorry for the stupidity. I mentioned deletion from the context menu, so I should have noticed that. Do I need to purchase another license to compensate for possible damaged sales from defamation?

Wouldn't it be better if the key was Shift + Backspace instead? Delete will always be frightening at first (even for people who aren't as stupid as to not check the menu). Backspace is associated with removing text from documents, which is more similar to removing items from the list, and is a larger and closer key anyway.

No problem- may look into changing the shortcut to a shift-backspace to avoid confusion with the delete function.
