For instance, in a folder, if I have 3 files:
★.mp4
你好.mp4
hello.mp4
then I Ctrl-A Ctrl-C Ctrl-V to create a copy for each file, then search for duplicates, then only hello.mp4 and hello - copy.mp4 will be found as duplicates, the other two sets are missed.
I'm using Pro v4.1.4 on Win10
Duplicate file with names containing non ascii chars can't be found?

Re: Duplicate file with names containing non ascii chars can't be found?
I've confirmed this bug - the file filter check fails with Unicode characters above a certain codepoint.
So ϼϼϼϼϼϼ.rtf is ok but .txt fails. Will fix!

It's fixed in v5.0
Re: Duplicate file with names containing non ascii chars can't be found?
Since this is a true serious bug, I think it's work fixing in v4.x? When is v5 coming out?

One year has passed since this bug is reported, still no fix. Don't you think it's such a fundamental flaw? It essentially make your software not viable for Japanese Korean Chinese Arabic users.
