Ctrl V From Codeblocks Creates Blank Field

For some reason starting today when I'm trying to copy something from codeblocks into the search bar it just puts in a blank. I can copy from codeblocks into notepad and then into textcrawler, however.

Hmm - there must be a control code or something in the formatting it doesn't like (i.e. it isn't plain text). Does pasting work if you try the multi-line editor (click the little pencil icon)?
