Hello,
Would someone please be kind enough to help me.
I have a list of words I need to remove from various text files as they come in.
I use Batch Editor and import a word list. When I search I don't get just the whole words on the list.
If "euros" is on the word list I would get this.
euros
eurosia
pleurosoma
Is there a way to use a word list and only find exact matches?
I tried this as well.
Open Batch Editor, under Batch Commands To Process. I can select one word at a time and tick off the Whole Words Only box and click Update Command, a Flag "WholeWord" is added.
However, if I Ctrl+A (select all) all the Batch Commands To Process and Tick off the Whole Word Only box and update Command the flag "WholeWord" is NOT added to any of the commands.
Thank you for your time and effort.
Cheers!

Re: Exact Word List Matches
The Non-RegEx and Whole Word flag should do what you want.
The technique of selecting all the rows in the batch command, checkmarking 'Whole word' and clicking the update button should work (On version 3.1).
You may have to click on the Whole word checkmark box twice to get the check if it is in the indeterminate state.
