Photos may look the same (e.g. when shot the same object at a very slightly different angle) but a number of them are marked as duplicates, even though:
the sizes are (very) different
the names are different
How come?
Thanks.

Select multiple folders and "Mark all files that duplicate this folder elsewhere"
To use context menu Mark > Mark all files that duplicate this folder elsewhere, I need to do that for each single folder separately. AFAIK, right now, it is not possible to select multiple folders and then use this option, it is not available. Q: will this be available in v5 ? I believe it is a time...

Re: Beta: Duplicate Cleaner 5
Up front, I have not found the below in Duplicate Cleaner. Maybe it is there, I don't know. If not, this is then a feature request. What happens regularly... In Explorer (or any Explorer replacement) I have a file but -think!- that probably it is a duplicate. Am not sure though, likely I might have ...

Re: How to mark files in another sub folder
Thanks! Matter solved.
My mistake, sorry.
I wrongly assumed when closing the window panel of 'mark by location' then files would 'automatically' be selected in the given folder/subfolders.
However, I need to click on [Mark]

How to mark files in another sub folder
Up front, I know... I know it is a bit embarrassing to ask such a basic question. But .. spending some time to find a solution I give up. I ask for help here. Duplicate Cleaner finds duplicates in X:\CDS\sub folder \ sub folder .. etc. and X:\XLS\sub folders... et I want to mark ALL in X:\CDS (they ...

Re: How to mark all except one in a -selected- folder?
Thanks. Well, I don't know... to be honest. To avoid spending more time on this I have now selected each single file to be deleted, one-by-one, many clicks... Hopefully, some day, there will be a context menu option (or under "Selection Assistant"), something like "Mark all but one in...

How to mark all except one in a -selected- folder?
I would like to select a folder and have all dups except one marked from the context menu. https://i.imgur.com/RAsglyZ.png I know, there is a "Mark all but one in the same group and folder" But that works on all folders and sometimes that is not desirable. One may wish to first.. remove du...

Re: Context menu when searching dups in 1 folder only
Many thanks indeed! It worked out fine. In my case, I had to change the registry a little bit as I have Duplicate Cleaner installed on a different partition. Yes, I do think it would be a great enhancement to at least optionally enable the context menu. Maybe under Options > More Options > General (...

Context menu when searching dups in 1 folder only
Up front: I am very sorry should this have been asked before. Most probably there are threads about it, but I vainly tried to find them. I just recently started using Duplicate Cleaner. I wanted to r-click a folder and run Duplicate Cleaner on that specific folder from the context menu, but noticed ...
