Is it possible to resume scanning after a system crash?
I'm currently working on a rather flaky laptop that has a tendency to crash after a few hours - nothing to do with Dup Cleaner though. I'm running lengthy Dup Cleaner scans on this machine which usually exceed its crash-time, so is there any way I can resume a scan after one of these crashes? I know...

Re: Copy-Paste File names
ClipCache might help in the interim - it allows easy editing of the the copied text to delete the 'path' part. Once edited a double click will paste the result into your selected field.

Replacing ‘intentional’ dups by links to a single file
I have a number of dups caused because I want a file (an image usually) to appear in more than one folder. BUG: Save Profile
Barely a bug, but this doesn't seem right (V4.0.3)... Clicking the "Save Profile" button on the Home Page produces a file save dialogue with the filename field already filled with the full-path of the last saved file. In my case it is pre-filled with "C:\Users\(username)\Documents\Dup...

Feature request: Concept of a Session or Job
I've been working on a de-duping a load of photos. DCP found the dups some time ago and since then I've been working through them, deleting, moving etc. But now a new task has come up to sort out dups between a couple of instances of DropBox folders that got created. I realise I can export and re-im...

Re: Duplicate Cleaner 4.0 Beta
RFE: Similar content, option to exclude 100% (exact) content & (maybe or) option to display %Similar (at least to identify files that are similar vs. files that are 100%. Idea being that I had first run Same Content, & now I want Similar rather then Same, & I don't care to see Same beca...

Re: Getting results into a text file
Answering myself, I discovered you can select and copy the text on the results pane, so I now have it copied to excel.
The next question is a wishlist for an alternative side-by-side output format, as it's not easy to do the reformatting in excel (needs a macro).
