Crashes in Image Mode

Every time I run the program in Image Mode, it crashes. I'm running Win7 64-bit. I see "Calculating image metrics." Then, crash: "Duplicate Cleaner Pro has stopped working."

Does it crash when scanning a particular location? If you point it towards a folder with a couple of test images does it work?

Yes, it seemed to work in a small folder, but when I scanned the Pictures folder, it immediately crashed.

Is there much space on the system drive? It could be having trouble creating the database.
Were there any error messages?

There is plenty of hard drive space on all my drives. The only message is from Windows, saying that Duplicate Cleaner Pro has crashed.

The program runs fine without crashing in Regular Mode.

I have 599 GB free on my C: drive.

Does that part of the process complete?
Does it show the total number of files?
In any case, how many files in Pictures?


What settings (Search Criteria) do you have set in Duplicate Cleaner?
Does its log show anything of value, View | View Log File... ?

How many metrics in does it get before it crashes? It should skip "problem" images so maybe there is something else happening.
