Output to file(s)

This option updates the original file with the replaced text.

 

A .bak file will be created of the original file if specified in  Options - Output.  The existing Date Modified stamp can also be retained if specified.

 

This option will write all replacements out to a new or existing folder, leaving the original files unchanged.

 

The original folder structure can be retained by checkmarking the 'Keep structure' option.  Note that if the structure is not kept, files of the same name may be overwritten when replacing from multiple folders to a single folder.

 

This option creates new files in the same folder as the input, but with the specified prefix or suffix.
