Error message; problems with OCX registration

Dear Digital Volcano people,
I've just installed Duplicate Cleaner 1.3 on a WinXPPro box, and come up with the error message:
"Error loading settings from registry: Component audiogenie24.ocx or one of its dependencies is not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid".
So I checked, and the ocx file is in \windows\system32, and I registered it using regserver32, and was told it had succeeded. But I still get the same message every time. Any ideas how to fix this?
Cheers,

Odd - this should work. Is there an earlier version of the Audiogenie ocx on the system?

No: there's no other audio*.ocx on the computer. Do you know what "its dependencies" might include?

And now, for no reason that I can tell, it works! And very satisfactorily. Software is _so_ confusing ...
Thanks, guys.
