The application freezes when scanning a folder containing a relatively small number of photos
Does the log get written to, even partially?
If so, what does it say?
What settings are you using?
Path to this folder?
How many is "small"?
If small enough, list the contents of the folder.
If too many, then post the names of a few of the files in the folder.
Anything stand out with the names?
At what point does it freeze?
