How to select out songs with prefixes

I have a vexing problem I have not been able to solve. At one point a couple years ago it looked like I would lose my entire data(E:)drive so I used a third-party utility to back it up. That utility attached a several digit prefix to the title of the song. After that when I would open Windows Media Player, I would see the song listed twice or in triplicate. I am trying to get rid of all these copies that contain the long string of digits in front of it. These renamed songs frequently don't even have the original song title in them. I have a M-Tech Computer with an Intel i7x980 with 24GB of RAM memory and plenty of storage space. If anyone has an idea how I can filter these out so I can eliminate them I would appreciate it.

You could use the 'select by text pattern' function on the file column

You could select using 0000 - this will mark all the files starting with 0000. Alternately if they start with other numbers you could try a numeric regular expression.
