Your Text Crawler program works great on old Excel files from Office 2000. Since we've upgraded to Office 2010 the Text Crawler will no longer find text in these files.

Is there a fix for this already or one planned in the near future?

The new xlsm files are basically zip files with metadata inside. TextCrawler won't read these because it doesn't (as of version 2.5) support zip files. That said, it was risky using TextCrawler on the old xls files, as it could damage them (they are propriety binary formats). It's really intended for plain ASCII or Unicode text formats.
