Replace last word

Congratulations for this great program.
I'm trying to edit more than 2000 files and after hours searching the forum I can't found a answer for my last edit.
I'm trying to insert some text at the end of the files I already have. Any way to do that ?
In other way I may try to replace some text in it, my text files always end with ".ipf" but there's some ".ipf" along my text. Any way to replace only the last one ?
