I have set "Match exact audio data":
Why is DV reading meta data then:
How could I let DV compare the file content without comparing the audio tags?

It doesn't compare the metadata but it does read it in order to display it in the results. (e.g. it always displays the length (duration)

So it cannot be turned off? It obviously takes a lot of time reading them.

You can't currently turn off Metadata in Video mode. You can read without metadata using Regular mode, but this will hash the entire file, not just the video portion.

No, Audio mode works the same way.
Disabling or caching metadata is something planned for version 6.
