This is an option when you begin the deleting process. The exact option is, "Remove orphaned group members after operation. Do I need orphaned group members; is it safe to select this option. Also, does this option give me more free space on my hard drive. Thanks to why ever answers my question.

Orpaned group members are file names left in the list which (after deleting their duplicates) would be left on their own. This option simply removes them from the list - it's safe and doesn't remove them from the hard drive.
