Volcano fails on 2nd step, after 4-5 hours

Worked on my main Dell Precision T3400 OK
Started on my external hard-drive, found 1,006,525 files
90,745 duplicates
Three times now, it finishes the first level, then starts the 2nd, but fails and asked to be closed
This Hard-drive is close to being full
There is enough room on the main hard-drive

Starting now on my main #1 Backup Drive, it is larger and has more memory avilable
Me Dell is the most powerful Dell sold
Volcano should know after all groups/files/duplicates are located, if it can go forward, instead of wasting 4 hours of work, then crash?

Is this v1.4.7 or 2.0 beta? 2.0 should be able to handle this amount.
