Tolerance Save Bug?

Post by TimmyAhShhTimmy »

Hi again,

So i've just noticed, that if I save a search on the HOME page, and then re-load that search, the 'Tolerance' for the file length (duration) is not saved, it resets to zero.

Am I doing something wrong?

Ta.

Looked to work on my end.

Video. Set, Match Length, & Tolerance of (default) 5.000 s.

Saved my search.
Did a, New scan.
Then Load scan of my saved search, & with that, Scan Criteria does show Match Length enabled, along with the Tolerance.

(I didn't look at the Audio end.)

OK, more.
Changed Tolerance from 5.000 to 0.900 & on re-Load, Tolerance, while still set (at least) displayed as 1.000 s (rather then 0.900).
So there is some sort of rounding or whatever going on - which it should not be doing.
0.400 rounded down to 0.000.

Hi, did you shut down the program between save & load? What version are you using, i'm using the latest one.

Just tried it again and it definately does not save the tolerance.

It's saving it, but doesn't seem to be saving the millisecond part. Will need to check if this is even used

Hello,

Ah, thats the confusion then, as i've only been using the millisecond bit. Sometimes videos have been re-coded, so they are very similar in length, with the difference being in milliseconds.

Not a big deal really, just something I noticed.

Thanks for the response.
